About Deanna

Deanna is an aspiring writer and speaker who is passionate about Jesus, her husband Wade and her three plus children; Keshia (26), & son-in-law Calvin, Tessa (24),  Owen (16) and grandson Kaiden.

Deanna writes and speaks of God’s mercy and forgiveness through her own rich life lessons. These stories have manifested in the process of her journey with God, herself and others. She ties serious issues such as sexual immorality, shame, divorce, suicide,  addictions & inner healing into a bow of God’s grace. Her heart and mission is to encourage and enlighten others to walk in the shameless freedom and forgiveness of Christ.

In the fall of 2004, Deanna discovered a love for public speaking and telling God’s redemption stories through her experience as Saskatoon’s first candidate for the Beautiful You Makeover. She graduated from the Christopher Leadership course for public speaking in the spring of 2008 and Shannon Ethridge’s B.L.A.S.T.(Building Leaders, Authors, Speakers and Teachers) mentorship program in the spring of 2010.

Relocating to Regina in November of 2010 brought a 25 year career at Sasktel to a slow demise. This season resulted in enrollment at the University of Regina where Deanna believed that a degree in Journalism was the plan. God had another idea and in the fall of 2013 Deanna graduated with her Pastoral Studies Certificate. She also completed the Elijah House Prayer Ministry introduction and level 201 & 202 along with Healing Trauma.

Deanna serves at Bloom Church and in the community of Regina encouraging others to walk in the fullness of their calling through loving God and loving people.
